Smartsheet now a registered education provider with the Project Management Institute®

We are excited to announce that Smartsheet has been approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®, the world’s largest project management member organization, to be an Authorized Training Provider (ATP). PMI evaluated our training courses and they have met the rigorous quality standards for course content, instructor qualification, and instructional design. Smartsheet joins over 800 ATPs around the world.

The Project Management Professional (PMP)® is among the most prestigious credentials for project managers worldwide. In order to receive the certification, individuals have to fulfill the educational, training and experience needed in order to qualify to take the exam. To maintain the certification, continuous professional development is needed. Individuals are required to obtain 60 professional development units (PDUs) over three years to renew their certification.

Any individual holding or seeking a certification from PMI can now take courses from Smartsheet University to receive PDUs, helping to satisfy the education requirements for the certification or recertification.

Smartsheet 101 (8 PDUs)

Designed for newer users, Smartsheet 101 provides a foundational understanding of the Smartsheet work execution platform. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to manage work and collaborate within Smartsheet to increase your efficiency and effectiveness.

Smartsheet 201 (12 PDUs)

Smartsheet 201 is designed for customers who have foundational knowledge and skills in Smartsheet and wish to continue developing their team’s abilities in collaborative work management. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to lead your team to develop solutions that increase efficiency and productivity.

Smartsheet 301 (12 PDUs)

For existing and emerging project managers, as well as anyone who is involved in projects or change management, we’ve created Smartsheet 301. This course is ideal for project managers, project coordinators, team leads, functional managers, program managers, and project team members. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to use Smartsheet to successfully initiate, execute, control, and close projects.
