Jo Deal is Smartsheet’s Chief People Officer. She is responsible for the company’s People team.
Jo is an experienced HR executive with over 20 years of expertise aligning talent strategies to business performance at global technology companies, including GoTo, formerly known as LogMeIn; Citrix; and Informatica. Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer for GoTo where she was responsible for all aspects of human resources and led the company’s people and culture strategy through significant change and business milestones.
She has a BA in Industrial economics from the University of Nottingham and earned her post graduate HR qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK. Jo lives in the California Bay Area with her family and enjoys travel, music, English soccer, and supporting her kids’ sporting passions.
